MEC Communications Chair Job Description

 

The MEC will be holding interviews for the position of MEC Communications chair on April 28, 2008 in Seattle. 


Tim Goins, MEC Secretary will be scheduling the interviews. Please send your resume to Tim either via fax at (425) 491-2114 or email  timlgo@gmail.com .  Resumes need to be submitted by April 21, 2008.  

 

If you are interested in serving and have any additional questions, please feel free to ask any MEC officer or your LEC President. 

 

1.   Communicate with the membership on behalf of the MEC.

 

2.   Write at least 3 new articles per week for posting on the MEC website on subjects of interest to the membership.

 

3.   Create the quarterly MEC Update through solicited articles or write articles for publication.

   § Print MEC Update and send out to each base for distribution to Flight Attendants.

 

4.   Provide input on the design of the MEC website to make it more interesting to the Flight Attendant group.

   § Keep the MEC calendar on the website current.

 

5.   Blast a weekly “Heard On Line” email addressing current topics of interest to the Flight Attendants.

 

6.   Write/publish information to the membership at the request of the MEC.

 

7.   Paid at 20 TFP per month
