Hello Everyone-

 

As part of a huge combined effort, Alaska Flight Attendants are being asked to assist with the Delta AFA-CWA Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign. If you are interested, there are two ways to help -

1) phone banking (calling Delta F/A's)

2) visibility at the airport (pamphlets, etc.).

 

The  LAX GOTV phone center  (located in Santa Fe Springs) will open from April 26th - May 11th, and our hours of operation will be from 10am-7pm.

We are looking to fill the following 4 hour shifts every day:

 10am - 2pm

12pm - 4pm

 2pm - 6pm

 3pm - 7pm

 

The visibility campaign will run from April 25th - May 11th.

 

  • 6 am - 10 am (we could overlap 5 am - 9 am, if we had enough early risers).  5 pm - 10 pm (we could also overlap 4 pm - 9 pm, if we have enough volunteers.  
  • We will be concentrating on 5 areas:
    1. D South bus stop (if we get enough volunteers)
    2. Terminal 5 curbside
    3. Delta terminal, Rotunda area you mentioned near McDonalds
    4. 2 gates in Terminal 6

 

If either of these sound like fun, and you want to take part in an historic vote involving our industry, please reply and indicate the dates and times you are available.
