MEC Officer Election Update

On May 20^th, elections were held for the positions of MEC President, MEC Vice President and MEC Secretary/Treasurer.  Each office is a 3-year term that begins July 1, 2008. The voting members of the MEC, the LEC Presidents, cast a vote for the candidates of their choice for each position. 

The results are as follows: Kelle Porter Wells, MEC President; Deanna Hill, MEC Vice President; Renee Elson, MEC Secretary/Treasurer.  Each officer was elected unanimously with the exception of the MEC President, as Council 19 SEA abstained.
