As you know, the Broward Teachers Union negotiates raises for all district employees, and contract talks are ongoing right now. The raises negotiated by teachers for teachers will be the raise received by everyone including administrators.

Please take this opportunity to ask all administrators to support the negotiations process. Just like you, their raise will be determined by BTU's negotiations team.

Union leaders believe if Superintendent Jim Notter would cut district waste, all employees could receive a raise. Union members just like you have identified over $100 million in cuts. Superintendent Notter needs to eliminate waste, stop future layoffs and give all employees a raise.
