The contract talks start at 2:30 p.m. and all employees are urged to arrive as soon as they get out of work up to the end of the talks around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29 at the BTU office in Tamarac. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can arrange for the correct amount of seating, beverages and snacks. If you know of a family member, friend or parent who lives in Broward, Palm Beach or Miami-Dade and really supports the issues that are important to you such as step and salarie increases, decreasing the 45% increase in dependent insurance coverage and ending district corruption and waste, please send us their name and e-mail address. The class will provide new information and expanded details designed for classroom teachers, stewards have already received this training. Very light snacks and beverages will be provided.
