Greetings, The Illinois Federation of Teachers is seeking information on workload issues from paraprofessionals and school-related personnel. The union has received reports from PSRPs of paperwork increases, lack of training, failure to replace staff who have left or retired, outdated or malfunctioning equipment, and more problems that impact your ability to do your job effectively.We need to hear from you about how workloads in your office are affecting you and your colleagues. Please take a few moments to complete this online survey. Your responses will help the union develop contract language, training and other support to push for adequate staffing levels, up-to-date technology and manageable workloads. Please complete the survey by June 30, 2009. Feel free to forward this email to your colleagues. We want as many PSRPs as possible to respond to this survey.
