An Economic Stimulus Package with a Side of GREEN Please!
As Congress considers passage of an economic stimulus package, light must be shed on stimulating clean energy industries.
Demand that your Representatives vote for an economic stimulus package that benefits working Americans by investing in energy sectors that will create GREEN jobs.
Congress intends to pass an economic stimulus package that will jump-start the economy as soon as legislatively possible. This is a matter that must be addressed quickly but it should not forget about clean energy initiatives, energy efficiency and research for renewable and alternative energy sources to decrease our dependency on oil.
We must call on our Congressmen and Congresswomen to act now and invest in stimulating a GREEN Economy that creates jobs while protecting our environment and investing in clean energy industries.

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
As you consider passage of an economic stimulus package to jump-start our economy, I would like you to support a bill that will benefit working Americans by investing my tax dollars in clean energy industries that will create GREEN jobs.
Although the intention is to achieve passage on a stimulus bill as soon as legislatively possible; doing so should not exclude provisions for clean energy initiatives, energy efficiency and research for renewable and alternative energy sources to decrease our dependency on oil.
As an informed constituent, I am not only concerned about the current state of our economy but about our environment too. I urge you to vote for a package that provides incentives for programs that will lower the cost of energy for homeowners, businesses and will create new and green jobs for Americans.
I hope you will support legislation that will stimulate a GREEN Economy that creates jobs while protecting our environment too.
