Greetings, MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL LCLAA OFFICE: CHICAGO LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE CANCELLED Unfortunately LCLAA has to postpone this weekend's Leadership Development Conference in Chicago. There were understandable concerns about the swine flu and the implications this has on the public health and safety of the attendees and we received several cancellations from members and speakers. The health and safety of our members and conference participants is most important to us. Although we cannot hold the conference this weekend do not be discouraged because we are simply postponing it for the Fall! The new dates are October 1-4. We truly hope that you understand the circumstances that have led to this decision and that all of you take all necessary precautions to prevent acquiring the swine flu in your workplaces and your communities. For those of you registered for the conference, if you paid with a credit card you will be reimbursed today, May 5th 2009. If you paid by check, your reimbursement will be sent by mail within 2 business days. Thank you all for your support and for the time you have invested in trying to make this event possible.
