Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

I am a constituent and I need your help.

I am a Management/Confidential employee (M/C) working for the State (AGENCY). Under the terms of the M/C PayBill passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor I was scheduled to receive a 3% salary increase effective April 1, 2009 (add performance advance step increase or longevity if applicable).

M/C employees have been singled out by the Governor, who has taken away my salary increase (and advance or longevity, if applicable) this year.

This is not only unfair, as all other state employees have or are getting paid their promised salary increases, it also seriously affects my current economic condition as well as my future pension benefit calculation (if planning to retire within 3 years).
