Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
I urge you to vote against the House pension bill (H.R. 2830).
This bill could freeze pension credits and benefits for workers and retirees at GM, Ford, DaimlerChrysler and other companies. It would also outlaw plant closing pension benefits.
If this bill is passed, it will be financially devastating for hundreds of thousands of workers and retirees.
I think it's outrageous for Congress to freeze pensions for rank-and-file workers and retirees while your pensions for continue to increase automatically every year!
