MEC Negotiations Team and System Board Election Results

Last week in DFW, our Seven Local Presidents elected your New MEC Negotiations Team.

First, we would like to acknowledge all of the American Eagle Flight Attendants who submitted their commitment to serve for these positions. We had a large turn-out of candidates and that shows us the pride you take in furthering our profession and making your co-workers quality of working lives better. You all showed true dedication- Kudos!

The Negotiation Team Elections were very difficult as we had so many great candidates. Here are the results in last name alphabetical order:

·         John Grace

·         Armando Ramos

·         Debra Sutor

Congratulations to the New Team. The MEC stands behind these Members 100%. They, along with MEC President Veronica Tenerelli will make up our Team for our next round of Contract Negotiations which begins next year.

The MEC also elected two new System Board positions. The Positions of one Permanent Member to the System Board of Adjustment and the Second Alternate positions were open and filled. Again, we had highly qualified candidates and we thank all of them for running. The results were:

·         Permanent Member- Carol Harper 

·         Second Alternate- Adriana Diaz
