Greetings,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of MEC Vice-President Carl Gautreaux this morning at 9.00 am, in his hometown of Lafayette, LA.  Carl has been a Flight Attendant for American Eagle for 20 years. He has held many Union positions starting with the first Legislative Chair when based in DFW. Since then he has been MEC Webmaster, MEC Vice President, MEC President, and MEC Info-Rep Chair.

Your MEC has suffered a great loss, as many of you who have been his friends for many years, grieve along with us.  His family is still in the process of making arrangements.  Once we receive the information we will be sure to inform you.
