Resolution

American Eagle Master Executive Council

Dallas, TX

August 12 – 14, 2009

 

 

Whereas, the American Eagle Flight Attendants, as represented by their elected local Union leadership are beginning the ultimate task of negotiating improvements to our pay, benefits and working conditions, and

 

Whereas, the Union leaders and members understand the importance of trust in order to build solidarity in support of contract negotiations, and

Whereas, the American Eagle Master Executive Council acknowledges that trust has been impacted by recent leadership actions, and

Whereas, the American Eagle Master Executive Council accepts its responsibility to rebuild the trust of the membership in order to move forward collectively, and

Whereas, the Local Council Presidents from each of the 6 councils representing the American Eagle Flight Attendants have recently elected new leadership for the Master Executive Council, now

Therefore be it Resolved, that we, the American Eagle Master Executive Council commit ourselves to performing our duties with the highest ethical standards, exercising fiscal responsibility and providing transparency in negotiations information, recognizing that we have a sacred trust to serve the best interests of the members honestly and faithfully.
