Greetings,

On October 6^th we meet with the company to finalize the "Order of Assignment" MOU (Memorandum of Understanding).  This is no way changes any portion of our current agreement.  It is meant to clarify the current practice when it comes to the order of assignment.  With the recent "flying no flying lost" arbitration award providing clarification on when an FA can be reassigned we were able to finalize the information being  placed in the MOU.   

Many issues were brought up during these discussions regarding how assignments are made.  One big issue was the fact that reserves already on a sequence seem to have flying adding on continually.  This one issue in not addressed in our current agreement and therefore we could not add it to the MOU.  Our current reserve section has many open issues that need to be addressed. Your Negotiations Team plans on devoting much time and effort addressing section 9.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this MOU, please send them to afamec@afaeagle.com
