NSPS needs to go. It doesn't need to be reviewed or debated any longer. Make your voice heard at two critical events in AFGE's longstanding fight to dump NSPS once and for all:
Action #1:
The Defense Business Board, which has been asked by the Department of Defense (DoD) to review NSPS, has formed a Task Group that will be holding meetings June 25th and 26th in Washington, DC to collect comments on NSPS. AFGE will testify at the meeting. The Board also plans to invite members of the public, including federal employees, to testify based on written comments submitted in advance. We encourage you to submit your comments in writing. Here's how you can do that:
The Task Group is NOT accepting emails, online comments, or other electronic methods of communication. Comments must be sent through regular snail mail. Comments will be accepted through June 26th, but those received after June 18th may not be considered in determining who will be invited to testify on the 26th. Therefore, we need you to put your thoughts and feelings down on paper ASAP.

Action # 2
Contact your Representative as soon as you get this email and urge him or her to REPEAL NSPS. Use the link below. Here's why: On Friday, June 12, the House Armed Services Committee will begin to mark up (write) next year's Defense Authorization Bill. AFGE will attempt to get language in that bill to repeal NSPS. Lawmakers need to hear from you that the time for talk is over. Repeal NSPS now!
