The June 30th budget deadline has not been met.  Missing this deadline will cause the loss of employee paychecks.  We need your help now!  Let's put a face on what payless paydays mean to you.  Your lawmakers need to know the impact no paycheck has on your family.  Write a letter or call their office.  Tell them your story...missed payments for mortgage/rent, car, daycare, gas to travel to work or food for the family.

Now that the deadline for the budget has passed, I am urging you to utilize the many options to raise the appropriate revenues to fund our State Budget. Although the budget mainly applies to state funding, it has a significant impact on our cities, towns and libraries.

It is time to put the partisan politics aside; work together to finalize our budget; and put an to end to the possibility of my delayed pay.
