Protect Our Voice in Health Care

Greetings,

Our union's Skilled Crafts Unit at UC Santa Cruz is 3299's last bargaining unit to complete contract negotiations.

For several months, Skilled Crafts workers have been pushing for basic protections on pension and health care.

UCSC Management is now proposing to take away Skilled Crafts' voice in healthcare, denying them the same rights we recently won in Service and Patient Care.

UCSC must sign a fair contract for Skilled Crafts workers, just like they did for Service and Patient Care workers.

Tell Vice Chancellor Vani we will not allow our collective voice to be weakened!

We stand together with our brothers and sisters in Skilled Crafts, 20,000 strong!

Subject: Skilled Crafts Workers Deserve a Fair Contract

Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],

I am shocked to learn that UCSC has proposed to deny Skilled Crafts worker their voice in health care benefits.

I will stand by my Skilled Crafts brothers and sisters until they win the fair contract they deserve.

Skilled Crafts Workers at UC Santa Cruz deserve a voice in their benefits, just like UC agreed to for Patient Care and Service!

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
