Over the past five years, Governor Schwarzenegger has slashed funding to programs and services, eliminated thousands fo jobs, and attempted to take away basic public employee rights.

After reducing or eliminating funding for essential programs and services twice already this year, Gov. Schwarzenegger is now proposing another round of massive cuts which will eliminate essential jobs, programs and services.

These billions of dollars of cuts will further weaken our economy, making it even harder for working families to make ends meet.

The Governor's Budget will destroy the California we know by:

Depriving millions of Californians the basic health care, home care, and other services children, seniors, and people with disabilities need to survive;

Leaving hundreds of thousands unemployed;

Putting even more pressure on revenue-starved state, city and county services;

Denying some 300,000 students a college education, and increasing class size in our public schools;

Decimating public safety--such as police and fire protection--and all the public services our communities need to maintain a decent quality of life.

Tell the Governor you will not stand for a budget which contributes to irreparable damage throughout our state.

Demand a budget which balances cuts with taxes, protects vital services, and contributes to the recovery of our communities!
