We won the BIGGEST raise EVER
for Missouri State employees, but the fight is not over
yet!
Greetings,
A conference committee of the Missouri House and Senate has
voted to give a $1200 pay increase for all state
employees. However, they voted to approve only $0.30
of the $0.75 shift differential promised in our contract and
only 80% instead of the 83% for our health insurance
compensation. We have already generated several hundred
letters and phone calls. It's urgent that all of us
take a moment right now to send a message that we want ALL
of our contract funded. The full House and Senate will be
voting on the budget later this week.
On the line is our $1200 pay increase, 83% for the
family plan for healthcare costsharing and the full 75 cent
shift differential. Don't let the legislators make these
decisions without hearing from the workers that their decisions
affect! These decisions will be made this week!
