Municipal Pooling Bill

In the early morning hours of May 7th, the State Senate passed the Connecticut Healthcare Partnership bill (HB5536) by a vote of 22 to 12.  The Senate’s favorable vote followed passage in the House on April 23rd by an overwhelming majority of 102 to 43.  The bill now goes to Governor Rell for her signature.  Under pressure from the Connecticut Business and Industry Association, she has already threaten to veto this critical legislation.  Please urge Governor Rell to do the right thing and sign the bill.
