Dear Doug

Mr. Parker was quoted in the Arizona Republc as well as emailed responses to questions posed by our flight attendants that you are not focused on a contract and that your union organizers do not represent the views of of the airline's workers. Mr. Parker has stated that we must "fight like hell, get mad, do something."  Mr. Parker- You Do Something! Live up to your "statements of labor principles". Come to the table and negotiate a contract that addresses our concerns. WE are fighting like hell and we will continue to do so. The question remains Mr. Parker, Are you fighting for us or against us. Send a messge to Mr. Parker to tell him that you can focus on many issues, including a fair contract!

Subject: I AM FOCUSED

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

I read your comments in the Arizona Republic recently and while I was not one of the 500 hundred Flight Attendants that you have spoke with regarding what is on my mind, I am one of over 2700 flight attendants that are focused on all issues relating to this merger, including a fair contract that addresses wage increases, health care benefits, work rule enhancements, and merger protections. I object to management's attempt to pit our concerns over job security against our need to have fair wage increases and improvements in our contracts. Flight Attendants need and deserve both. My costs are rising and I cannot afford your proposal of wage freezes and escalating health care costs. During our contract negotiations in July, our Union proposed strong merger protections but management refused to consider them. While management wants to wash its hands on job protection issues, you now have the chance to make proposals for long-term furlough protections of America West Flight Attendants. These improvments effect me on a day to day basis. You see Mr. Parker, I have a vested interest in this Company's success and have the ability to focus on the many important issues.

Sincerely,
