Flight Attendant, Craig Tusick C1675 passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009. Craig was a long-time Flight Attendant with who began his career with America West Airlines in 1986. It was Craig’s wish that funeral services not be held for him and his family is honoring his request. However, Craig had many, many friends who wish to celebrate the joy and laughter that was a part of his personality. Join the celebration of Craig’s life on Friday, May 29,

Marketplace. Of the 200 Voluntary Leaves of Absence for the month of June, 76 leaves were awarded with the June monthly bid. The Company will continue to take requests for June VLOAs on a first-come/first-served basis until 12:00 pm, noon on Friday, May 29, 2009. AFA has agreed to continue to allow Lineholders to AUTO trips
below the 40-hour minimum guarantee and to allow Reserves to
AUTO daily shifts throughout the month of
June. AFA was notified today that the City of Phoenix would be closing the 42nd Street Employee Parking Lot as a cost saving measure. The City of Phoenix, who owns and maintains this lot has communicated that the closure would save as much as $1.2 million per year. Employees who are currently parking in the 42nd Street Lot
will be relocated to the Tonto East Parking Lot by July 1,
2009. The City of Phoenix will be sending out letters to
those employees who currently park in the lot notifying them of
details surrounding the closure. |
