Greetings, AFA 66 eCommunication - Saturday, June 27, 2009 US Airways Flight Blows Tire US Airways Flight 1241 from Philadelphia blew a tire upon
landing in Tampa, Florida this afternoon. There were no injuries
reported to either crew or passengers. A runway at Tampa
International Airport has been shut down while debris is being
cleared which may create delays for subsequent
flights. The Pyramis Active Lifecycle Commingled Pools are an investment option offered in the US Airways, Inc. Employee Savings Plan, US Airways, Inc. 401(k) Savings Plan for Pilots and Future Care: The America West Airlines 401(k) Plan. Beginning July 1, 2009, an administrative fee to cover pricing & bookkeeping expenses will be charged to each of the Pyramis Active Lifecycle Commingled Pools. The net impact of the fee ranges from 0.005% to 0.02% of the
assets in the individual underlying pools, depending on the
pool's size. The fee will be reflected in the net asset value
(NAV) of the Pyramis Active Lifecycle Commingled Pools, although
given the small amount of the fee, it is anticipated that any
impact to the NAV will be negligible. The fee is also not
anticipated to increase the expense ratio of the Pyramis Active
Lifecycle Commingled Pools. Pyramis Global Advisors, the manager
of the Pyramis pools, previously absorbed these expenses but has
made this change to reflect standard practice in the investment
industry. This fee is being imposed by the Pyramis Global
Advisors, the manager of the Pyramis pools, and not US Airways.
