Workshops for Furloughed Flight
Attendants
AFA Council 66, in partnership
with Maricopa Workforce Connection will be hosting presentations
and registration information for Unemployment Insurance
Benefits, DES Job Service, and Workforce Development Career
Transition programs, at the AFA Council 66 Office. Explore
the possibilities and learn what assistance may be available to
help you find a new job or career.

Golf Fundraiser
AFA Council
66's golf fundraiser on July 18th at Sunland Village Golf Course
in Mesa is quickly approaching. This fundraiser is an effort to
raise money to help our fellow Flight Attendants who are
experiencing financial troubles during our nation's economic
crisis. Raising money for "The Pantry of Love" food bank is a
way we can lend a helping hand to our flying brothers and
sisters.
The golf fundraiser will take place on
Saturday, July 18th. Check-in is a 9am and the shotgun
start is at 10am. There will be free range balls, a scramble,
long drive, straight drive, closest to the pin, and long putt
contests.A beverage cart will be available so everyone can stay
hydrated in the Summer heat.
The entry fee is $40
per person. Entry fee includes the greens fee, cart, and lunch.
There will be 4 person teams. You can sign up as a group of 4 or
as individuals. If you don't have a group of 4, the course will
make the teams. Prizes will also be given away at the end of the
game.

through the end of this week, so please join us! You can call

US Airways rolled out our new uniforms. Please leave your
feedback about the new uniforms and your satisfaction with the
program – what works, what doesn’t work, what you
like and what you don’t – now that you’ve been
able to wear them on a regular basis.
