What's At Stake?

My Tax Dollars Should Not Be Used To Intimidate Workers At The Museum!

Your voice is critical!  Help us stop AlliedBarton's fear campaign dead in its tracks.

The museum relies heavily on your generosity as a tax payer and/or as a museum member.  The museum's own records say that we give the museum $5.9 million in tax money and we waive another $171 million in rent and utilities from them.

During these hard times, we could definitely use that money to keep libraries open and keep our city afloat.  Now, some of your tax money is being used to fuel AlliedBarton's anti-union, fear campaign.

You can support the Philadelphia Security Officers Union by nuetralizing anti-union behavior.

They CAN win a union election.  They can win a union contract!  They can raise their wages to union levels ($16.64 per hour including benefits) without costing museum patrons a single penny more at the door!

That's right, we estimate that the changes that we are fighting for are already paid for in the current $4.6 million contract.

If these guards win, they will have a voice on the job for the first time in 14 years!  They can have a sick-leave policy that protects single mothers and young workers.  They can have family-sustaining wages and boost the economy of our neighborhoods by $1.6 million!
