We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit United Students Against Sweatshops.

The short explanation of this alert was:
It has now been more than a year since students throughout the US and Canada demanded that their university clothes be produced in factories in which workers had a voice on the job and earned a living wage. Even though thirty major colleges and universities have signed on to this program, there are many who have refused to listen to the demands of both their student body and the workers producing their apparel. Send a message to Purdue University, Penn State University, and the University of North Carolina telling them to make their apparel sweatfree by adopting the Designated Suppliers Program today!
