All year in the making, we're finally headed to the Governor's desk with a strong health reform bill!

On Monday, September 10, both the state Senate and Assembly passed AB 8, the labor-backed health care reform legislation. This important bill will establish a minimum standard, like the minimum wage, for employer health care spending. It will also help control the out-of-control growth of health care costs.

The bill now heads to Governor Schwarzenegger who, despite his public statements calling for reform, has pledged to veto it.

Please take a minute to send the letter below letting Governor Schwarzenegger know that working families are counting on this reform and that a veto of AB 8 is nothing more than an empty promise!
