The short explanation of this alert was:

Americans need relief from higher drug prices now. The best way is to enact a comprehensive, affordable prescription drug program under Medicare. Until we have leadership in Washington that can do that, safe reimportation of drugs is needed.

Urge your Senator to support S. 2328, the Dorgan-Snowe Drug Access and Safety Act.
It allows the safe, cheaper importation of drugs in a short amount of time.
Urge your Senator to oppose S. 2493, which allows the drug companies and the federal government too much power to manipulate the distribution of drugs.
