People & Planet has launched a new campaign in response to reports of worker repression at Fruit of the Loom's Jerzees de Honduras factory, where trade unionists face death threats and targeted dismissals for speaking out to management, and the eventual loss of their jobs as a result of the factory's closure. Fruit of the Loom's abuses of worker and human rights have wrongfully left 1,800 people jobless simply because workers attempted to exercise their rights to join together and fight sweatshop conditions in the garment industry.
