Bonuses for Wall Street and tax breaks for millionaires haven't fixed our broken economy. We all know someone who has lost their job and can't find work.

The U.S. House has taken a good first step toward addressing the jobs crisis by passing the Jobs for Main Street Act. Now the Senate must act.

Tell the Senate it's time to create jobs for the 15 million unemployed, and put America back to work.

We need them to pass legislation that will:

* Use leftover bank bailout money to create and keep job growth in local communities and restore Main Street's economy.

* Create good jobs that can't be outsourced by rebuilding our infrastructure, repairing schools and roads, and creating green jobs.

* Invest in state and local governments to maintain essential services.

* Extend unemployment benefits. They keep families and the economy going during the recession.
