8,000 Stop & Shop workers will vote this Sunday in Lowell whether to reject Stop & Shops demands for cuts to retiree health care and to go on strike. Other strike votes have already passed in Southeastern and Western Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Read the articles in the articles in the "What's at Stake Page" for more information on their campaign and on Stop & Shop's health care record. Show your support by sending a letter to Stop & Shop CEO Jose Alverez. Also in the case of a strike, please join the workers on the picket line to let them know that they are not alone.
