Demand temp agencies not be used to break the strike!

Workers at Fidelity House Human Services in the Lawrence area take care of people with developmental disabilities in the Merrimack Valley. They are members of SEIU Local 509 and scheduled to strike for one day on May 20. They are seeking a modest pay raise, and improved training. These workers are in extreme need. High turnover of staff has compromised the quality of care at the agency. Unfortunately two temp-worker agencies are making plans to undermine the strike by providing strikebreakers to cross the picket lines. The two agencies are Allstaff and Stafflink.
