The affiliate unions of the Wichita/Hutchinson Labor Federation of Central Kansas, AFL-CIO, will be hosting its second  one-day Organizing Conference on Thursday, February 7, 2008, in Wichita, Kansas. The conference will be held at the Best Western Airport Inn & Conference Center, 6815 W. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67209.

The following activists have agreed to speak at the conference:

	Stewart Acuff Director of Organizing AFL-CIO
	Steve Boyda Labor Attorney and husband of US Congresswoman Nancy Boyda

The conference will conclude Thursday at 5:00 p.m., following a lively panel discussion moderated by Andy Sanchez, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Kansas AFL-CIO.

Registration will be Wednesday night from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with lunch being served at 11:30 The registration fee is $25 per person to cover lunch, refreshments and conference materials before Jan 15, 2008. Registration after Jan 15 is $35.

A block of rooms has been reserved for Wednesday evening, February 6 and Thursday evening, February 7th. The room rate for king/double rooms is $75.00 plus tax. This price includes a discount breakfast coupon. When registering, you must specify that you are attending the Labor Fed Organizing Conference. Conference registration will be Wednesday night from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with lunch being served at 11 :30 am. There is a restaurant and club on location.
