Current law bans collective bargaining for all public servants in North Carolina, including those who pick up our trash, deliver our children to school, and even those who lay down their lives for us in the line-of-duty.
Yet, public employees are denied the same negotiation rights as employees working in the private sector.
Take action and send a pre-written (but editable) letter to the House Appropriations Committee and to your NC House and Senate member. You will be asking them to support House Bill 1583 and the heroes who are asking for our respect.
