Thousands of you recently took our AFSCME member election survey and spoke loudly and clearly:

75% of respondents said America is heading in the wrong direction!

Experts predict that less than half of eligible voters will go to the polls this Election Day. We can make the voice of working people even more influential by turning out to vote on November 7.

It's time that retirement security, job security, health care and the safety and well-being of all Americans are the top priorities for our elected leaders. It's time to elect politicians who will fight for the interests of working families and fight for the values of AFSCME members.

On November 7, I will:

• Go to the polls and vote for candidates who support affordable health care, retirement security and who will put an end to the culture of scandal and corruption in Washington.
• Tell one friend or co-worker to go to the polls on Tuesday, November 7.
