Real Health Care Reform includes a public option

Tell your members of Congress:

We can't have Real Health Care Reform without a public option.

Health care costs are rising three times faster than wages and the cost of inaction is simply too high. We must pass a health care reform law that will guarantee competition and choice.

Don't let the the health insurance industry confuse the issues. Corporations, with the help of the media and conservatives, are working hard to defeat any kind of reform. The wild accusations at town hall meetings and crazy lies are a part of a strategy to defeat health care reform and damage President Obama.

Even union workers, who have led the way in securing health benefits for working people, are in danger of losing secure health coverage because of out-of-control costs. And as the cost of our benefits goes up, there is less money when we bargain for raises and other items in our contracts.

Many members of Congress have worked hard to fix health care, but some Senators and Representatives are being influenced by the campaign to kill reform. They need to hear from us so they know how important the need for real reform is.
