On July 9th the workers at the Chinese Daily News in Monterey Park California will hold a rally - 2 1/2 years into their effort to get union representation!  The employer, which is based in Taiwan, has used union busters, attacks, and unfair labor practices in their on-going effort to fight the workers’ desire for a union.

The workers voted for union representation, were upheld on appeal and have been waiting for 2 years for the full NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD in Washington DC to respond.  But they are still demanding RESPECT!

Please help us tell the company that mistreatment of workers will not be tolerated.  Union members and community supporters in Southern California are circulating petitions to be handed to the CDN management at the Rally – please join the petition drive by entering your name and address below.  We will print out your e-mail and deliver it at the rally.

Your signature will let the company know that there will be no business as usual until the worker's rights are respected and they have a union.
