These state senators voted to make Connecticut’s tax system more fair by voting to slightly increase tax on earners making more than $500,000 per year, and on profitable corporations paying almost no state tax.  They recognized that state and municipal employees have voted to increase their own taxes in the form of givebacks to their employers, in order to help out all Connecticut citizens during an economic crisis.  These senators honored your sacrifice by recognizing that the whole of solving the state’s economic crisis should not happen by cutting public employee pay and public services that help Connecticut’s middle and low income families.

Please tell these senators that you support their wise decision to slightly increase the state income tax on the wealthiest, who have received whopping state and federal tax breaks over the last few decades.
