We have been urging members of Congress to sponsor and support the Employee Free Choice Act, to restore workers' rights in the United States. Many have responded, and to date, there are 41 Senate cosponsors and 205 in the House, plus others who have indicated they will support the measure.
It's important that members of Congress realize how important the right to a union voice and a union contract is to working families.
Please take a few minutes to write to your representatives about how having a union has made a real difference for you and your family, and how every American worker should have the right to make a free choice about union representation and the right to bargain a contract.
