The short explanation of this alert was:
This month, the Bush administration is holding a test vote in the Senate Finance Committee on CAFTA (the Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement) to help determine whether or not there is enough support to pass the bill through Congress.
CAFTA is President Bush's number one trade priority, and we have to make it our priority to oppose CAFTA at every turn. Tell the Senate Finance Committee that test or no test, it must vote 'NO' on CAFTA.
