The Bush White House has told the key committee chairs in Congress not to schedule a vote on postal reform.

You probably know that in bipartisan, unanimous votes the House and Senate committees (40-0 and 17-0) have approved the Postal Reform legislation that the Postal Service needs.

Yet the White House has told Chairman Tom Davis of the House Government Reform Committee that now is not the time to move Postal Reform Legislation. Chairman Davis met with White House staffers to change their minds, but the White House has dug in its heels and refused to permit a vote.

So now is the time for e-Activists to step forward! Contact your Senators and Representatives immediately and urge them to remove the White House block! Support our Republican and Democratic members and ask them to schedule H.R. 4341 and S. 2468 for floor action now!
