Employee Free Choice Act Vote TODAY!

This is the last push before the U.S. House of Representatives votes today on the Employee Free Choice Act- A bipartisan legislation that would ensure workers have a free choice and fair chance to form a union. This legislation will strengthen workers' rights and hold employers who harass and coerce their workers accountable. Futhermore, employees will have the opportunity to form unions by signing cards authorizing for union representation. The unions will be allowed to provide mediation and arbitration for first contract disputes. Also, stronger penalities will be implemented for the violation of employee rights when workers seek to bargain collectively.
