The Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act (HR 980)

Our finest surely need input to the things that are important to getting their job done! However, as usual, our legislators look to 'organize' rather than 'empower' to solve the problem resulting in a more costly bureaucratic system. As always, the financial impact and funding elements are not in the bill. It'll cost m/billions to pay union dues, administrators, lawyers, etc. in order to keep the same levels of safety and security! I hope the senate/president stop this madness ....

Everyone needs to contact their Reps. and congradulate and thank them for passing this HR980. Its been along time coming. And I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard thru out the years to get this passed. I have been a FF for 22yrs and we have talked about this since day one. Still some work to do but this is a great start. Again thank you.

Awesome! Finally, a voice for so many who should have an equal right to engage in debates about their workplace practices. These individuals, on a daily basis, place their lives on the line to protect and serve this Country and they should be able to Collectively Bargain! Congratz and thank you those in Congress who voted for this bill! And for those who voted against, rethink your priorities, these people just might have to save your sorry @#$ one day!
