Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey we sent out earlier in the week. We’ve had a great response so far, but there is still time to hear from more of you.

If you have not already done so, please take a moment to complete the survey regarding issues facing our members when trying to get appropriate services for students with emotional or behavior problems. 

The survey for teachers is five questions and the one for case managers and the clinical team (social worker, nurse, psychologist) is four. The deadline for your response is Wednesday, June 10.  The team of us will be testifying again in front of the Chicago City Council Education Committee on June 15 and we will use the data collected to make our case.

It is up to all of us to work together to help our students get the care and attention they need and for us to do what is necessary to keep our public schools from closing.
