Wireless workers deserve a fair contract!
Verizon Wireless? Shameless.
The biggest wireless company is also one of the worst for workers.
Verizon Wireless boasts about its clear signal. But the company should be ashamed of the threatening signals it’s been sending union workers at the bargaining table. Treating them like second-class citizens. Insisting on laying people off without consideration of their seniority. Refusing to provide equal benefits.
There’s just no excuse for Verizon Wireless’ attacks on employees. Verizon Wireless’ conduct is an example of the runaway corporate greed that’s making America’s economic problems even worse. And this kind of union-busting has no place in today’s workplace.

In your "diner" ads, you've been telling everyone how union- and worker-friendly Verizon is. In a speech this spring, you boasted that "Verizon is one of the largest employers of unionized workers in the country." You said that you wanted a "partnership" with unions.
Yet technicians at Verizon Wireless are fighting to keep their union contract. Management treats them like second-class citizens, refusing to provide benefits equal to those of unorganized workers. This kind of union-busting has no place in today's workplace.
