Monday, December 6, 2004, will be the official kick-off for Contract Negotiations between the Communications Workers of America and Verizon, California.  CWA has agreed to start early bargaining with Verizon with the understanding that the Company will not submit retrogressive proposals. 

Together we must support our CWA Bargaining Committee during negotiations by sending a message to Verizon that "We mean business!"

Let's show solidarity by wearing our union shirts on opening day and every Thursday until we have an agreement.
