GOOD JOBS, GREEN JOBS CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK IN DC: The Blue-Green Alliance, whose members now include CWA, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and SEIU - in addition to existing members United Steelworkers and Sierra Club - is holding its annual Good Jobs, Green Jobs conference at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel in Washington next week February 4-6. Featured speakers include Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius and MN Congressman Keith Ellison, among others. A Green Jobs Expo will also provide networking opportunities for job seekers.
