Council 98 is pleased to announce another "Merger Mixer" in May.  Our members who live north of LAX have been clamoring for something closer to home.  This will be a great way to get to know our Delta peers in a casual environment.  Please join us on May 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (see below for details).

The mixer will be generously hosted by Northwest flight attendant Patty Pomeroy.  
Please bring an appetizer or sweet that will serve six guests.

We have invited Mary Lou Savage, AFA Senior Benefits Attorney, to present the membership and our Delta colleagues with detailed information about the differences between health and retirement benefits at Northwest and Delta.

We have also invited Veda Shook, AFA International Vice President, who is deeply involved in the DL/NW organizing campaign.  Veda will explain how important our personal commitment to the campaign is to its ultimate success – and offer opportunities for each of us to use our individual talents to ensure continued representation and an industry-leading contract at the "new Delta".
