AFA MEC EAP/BOSTON CREW ROOM/CONFERENCE ROOM

On Tuesday November 3^rd and Wednesday November 4^th, AFA MEC EAP Chairperson and former Boston flight attendant Deb McCormick will be spending time in the Boston crew room and conference room area to assist us in digesting the recent company announcement and to also offer guidance and support services.  Debbie’s expertise is in helping to navigate and process such life changing news.  Please stop by before or after your trip or come in just to talk with Debbie and/or your other fellow flight attendants.  We need to offer each other support at this most difficult time.  All flight attendants are welcome.

This will be the first in a number of visits planned from now until the beginning of May, 2010.

PAIRING AND LINES – CLT / PHL / DCA

The pairing and line sheets from CLT / PHL / DCA will be shipped to the Boston In-flight department and placed in your AFA mail file each month after they arrive.  Sheets for January thru April will be delivered on a monthly basis.  Should your file be missing, please advise a local AFA officer so that we may update your file.  If you discover your file missing please obtain your copies of these pairing and line sheets from Boston In-flight.

Please stay tuned to the AFA e-lines both MEC and LEC also check your company mail files and log onto WINGS for updates and information related to the closing of the Boston and New York domiciles.  As always if you have any questions or concerns please contact any of your local officers.

For now, please just exhale and know we are continually working to obtain as much information as we possibly can.  Just a quick note:  I must pass on that members from the other domiciles and other AFA airlines have sent Local BOS/69 offers of support during this most difficult time.  At a later time we will be providing commuter information we hope to gather from those in the other domiciles that so kindly offered their assistance.

**note – in certain counties/cities/towns in MA it is election day for local offices – on Tuesday,  November 3^rd – please don’t forget to exercise your right to vote.
