Dear Member,
Lining Issues Part Three
As of October 31, 2009 TwinHill stopped accepting the burden
of cost for uniform lining issues. As of November 01, 2009 it is
the sole responsibility of US Airways.
If you have been holding on to your damaged items, because
you have a life at home and are not being paid by purchasing to
do their job, under Section-6-Uniform of our contract US
Airways, via In-flight Services, must take your damaged items
for replacement at company expense under the wear and tear
terminology. Again, TwinHill will no longer accept financial
responsibility for these damaged items. All replacements are to
be done through In-flight Services under company expense
replacement.
On a side note...I would like to commend and thank each of
you for standing up for yourselves over the last few weeks
regarding this matter. Your calls and email notification to your
local AFA council offices and myself over US Airways
Purchasing's blatant disregard for our contract will provided
the starting point to correct and prevent future abuse through
grievances that will be filed. Cheers to you.
As always Fly Fast and Fly Safe.
